After studying in this subject, I found out making a website is complicated. Making a website should not only focus on the visual, there are many things that need to be concerned. Such as the user experience, the fuction of the website is working or not. And after the lesson, I have learnt how to make a fuctional and interactive website.
Through making my own website, I find out we should understand what user need and what will they feel when they click in the website. Sometimes, the user just want to find some information in the website. Therefore, we should make the content well-organized and clear. However, the government website is quite messy and lengthy. There are many problem in these website, which made me notice more on the organization of content. However, I do not think I did well in this part because when I tried to organize the content, it looks quite boring. I think I can think more creative on how to arrange different text in the website, which can let the website look more interesting meanwhile informative.
My design skill is immature yet, I think it is necessary for me to think more about on the template for further improvement. I think it is lack of uniqueness compare to other students’ work, although I put many graphic in the website, there aren’t a catchy point which can let the user to remember. And it is difficult for me to make the webflow look the same as the ai template. The composition of the graphic is hard to arrange and it looks a bit messy. I think I should use the grid system to arrange the items to make it looks more well-organized and tidy.
Making a website is an uneasy job for me, but I am glad to have opportunity to study a brand new thing. This subject is difficult and it let me know more how to create a website step by step. It is an tough and interesting experience.
